7th annual Walk Back in Time

April 13th and 14th - 10:00am - 5:00pm
Admission: $5

Visit re-enactors from Florida's past. Travel through the camps of the Timucuans - the Native Americans indigenous to northeast Florida, the colonial Spanish and British, the 18th century naturalist William Bartram, trappers and traders, Civil War troops, cow hunters, moonshiners, and women of the rural South. The event will also feature living history demonstrations including pine needle basketry, blacksmithing, palm frond hat weaving.

Food and craft vendors will also be onsite. You'll walk on the mile long trail around the Museum's five acre lake, so appropriate clothing and walking shoes are recommended. Please join us for this fun and educational event!

Summer Fun on the Farm Day Camp

9:00am - 4:00pm, Tuesday through Thursday
June 10 - 14, June 24 - 28, July 8 -12 and July 22 - 26

Three days of farm fun will include “Meet the Critters”, “What's Growing in the Garden?”, “A Pioneer Family’s Chores are Never Done”, Discover
Tour, Scavenger Hunt, plus lots of hands on activities, and arts & crafts. Kids will be introduced to farm basics about beekeeping, animal care, carpentry, composting, and daily chores. Registration is open NOW!

Florida Orienteering Festival

Navigate your way over to the Museum for the Florida Orienteering Festival. Bring the family to have a fun day learning how to navigate through the Florida wilderness. Open to all ages and levels of experience. This trail-hiking program is a light competition with different skill level trails. Instructors will be on-site to explain how the game works.

Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day

In the spirit of the Smithsonian Museums which offer free admission everyday, Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums across the country open their doors to anyone presenting a Museum Day Ticket....for free. The Florida Agricultural Museum will participate in this event once again. Only an official Museum Day Live! ticket holder is eligible for free entry. Official tickets can be found on the Museum Day Live! web site soon. One ticket will be available to download per household for two people. A ticket will gain entry to only one of the participating museums, excluding parking and special events and exhibits.


EAGLE ROCK EQUESTRIAN CLUB POKER TRAIL RIDE

The Eagle Rock Equestrian Club will host their semi-annual charity Poker Trail Ride.

Donation of $10 a poker hand per rider or hiker. The purchase of additional poker hands benefit the Florida Agricultural Museum and Horse Haven Rescue. Trail ride, food and drinks for purchase, a silent auction with horse merchandise, a gift bucket raffle, a 50/50 drawing and souvenir T-shirts for $15. Coggins certificate required.


The Pellicer Creek Raid - A Civil War re-enactment



October 11, 12, 13 10:00 am - 4:00 pm


Admission: $6
School group rate - $3 per person
Kids under 12 - $5



History really comes alive in this Civil War re-enactment and battle. If you’ve seen the re-enactments in St. Augustine, you’ll really enjoy this event. The setting at the Florida Agricultural Museum makes it easy to imagine you have really stepped back in time. Visit with cavalry, artillery and infantry troops in their authentic camps. Listen to their stories about the life and times in 1864 Florida. Period clothing and other items will be available for purchase.

Please download and complete a registration and liability release form if you wish to participate in this event. You may bring them with you when you arrive, or to save time at registration you can mail them with your payment. Vendors must pre-register. Haunted Trails and Corn Maze

Florida's Haunted Trails

Admission: $10 - Toddlers: Free

What's spookier than a wagon ride through the woods at night in October? Maybe a headless horseman? Magic shows, carnival games, and haunted house provide spine-tingling fun for all ages. A variety of food and drinks will be available for purchase. Please come in costume if you like....plenty of folks do. Be sure to wear sensible shoes you'll be walking and you never know what might be lurking in the sands beneath your feet.

Join us for a two day arts and crafts show featuring the handmade creations of area artists and top-quality craftsmakers. Start your holiday shopping with unique gifts for friends and family. You’ll find a wonderful array of works in various price ranges, from beautiful fine art to charming stocking stuffers - including ceramics, country furniture, stained glass, woodwork, glasswork, dolls, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, metal work, clothing, and photography. We’ll also dish up a wide selection of mouth-watering foods and refreshments.


HOT FOODS AND SPICY BLUES FESTIVAL

SUnday, March 3rd - 11:00AM - 5:00PM

Join us for this very popular third annual festival. The show will open with Linda Cole whose unique blend of blues and jazz was shaped by some of the artists she has performed with including the Count Basie Orchestra, Spyro Gryra, and Chuck Mangione. Miss Cole will be onstage noon - 1:30pm.

Featured performer Bill "The Sauce Boss" Wharton and the "Ingredients" will be onstage from 2:00-4:00pm. He cooks his famous gumbo on stage while performing his spicy original music, Florida Slide Guitar Blues. It's a multisensory soul-shouting picnic of rock and roll brotherhood. And at the end of the show everybody eats!

This one-day event will also feature an international fair of spicy foods from area restaurants and retailers. To cool the palate, cold beer and a variety of microbrews will be available. Please bring canned goods to benefit Feed Flagler in support of folks who could use some help in these difficult times.
